Owner and Lead DJ Dave Barth has been in the DJing business for more than 20 years. During his high school days, he started out as an assistant DJ. As his love for music grew, he quickly gained skills and experience to move up to Lead DJ/Party Host. In 2002, with knowledge in hand, he ventured out to start his own DJ company, Get Down Sounds Entertainment, and instantly gained popularity due to the high level of entertainment being offered. While being a successful business owner, DJ Dave also worked for top bars and night clubs in the Downtown Milwaukee area. During this time, he was voted one of the top DJs in the area by Milwaukee Magazine!
As the industry progressed, it was time to give Get Down Sounds Entertainment a facelift. Party Pros Entertainment Group was formed in 2020, with an expansion to the Appleton Green Bay area, the addition of new, talented and experienced DJs & exciting event enhancements like the FotoFun Photo Booth. Party Pros Entertainment Group has the right experience, passion and knowledge to perfectly soundtrack your big day for a celebration you and your guests will remember for years to come!

I am forever grateful for DJ Dave and the way he hosted my reception. He played to the crowd, had fun contests throughout that got everyone involved, and made sure my hubby and I were happy. He absolutely delivered and we still have folks who talk about that night every year around our anniversary. Definitely hire him, you won’t regret it!

DJ Dave was the BEST decision we made for our wedding. Due to cost, we weren’t going to have a dj and that would’ve been a huge mistake. He made the whole night run smoothly despite all the speed bumps!

Dave was so easy to work with and did an amazing job! The client portal was easy to use and once completed, we sat down with Dave in person and went over everything and on the day of, everything went so smoothly. We didn’t do the traditional bouquet or garter toss, so we told Dave to do whatever he wanted to get the crowd involved and he played a scavenger hunt game that was just an absolutely blast and every one loved it. He did a awesome job at keeping the crowd interested and on the dance floor. Absolutely recommend! Thanks for making our reception so much fun Dave!!
